Thomson, Reuters, and Bloomberg, three of the largest providers of financial information are all developing new systems to help their clients with "black box" trading. This type of trading generally involves a huge number of daily trades based on technical indicators rather than using fundamentals like most long-term investors. Though the new trading platforms will probably be priced out of the reach of individual investors, there are some cheaper programs with more or less the same capabilities.
